Spot the Fake: find the impostor on a gym leader’s team
Spot the Fake is a Pokémon trivia quiz about trainers’ teams. Each round shows a gym leader, Elite Four member, Champion, Kahuna, Trial Captain or villain boss with their real team from the game they debuted in, plus one Pokémon that was never on it. Tap the fake.
Each round’s impostor is sneakier than the last: by round five it shares the trainer’s type and comes from their region.
How to play
Read the trainer, their gym or title, and the game.
Tap the Pokémon that isn’t on their team.
A wrong tap costs one of your 3 lives, but you can keep trying.
Questions
Which trainers are included?
Gym leaders, Elite Four members and Champions from every main-series region, Alola’s Kahunas and Trial Captains, and villain bosses like Giovanni, Cyrus and Ghetsis: 144 trainers in all.
